![]() After killing our enemies, experience crystals fall out of them and if we collect the necessary amount of them, our character will level up, increasing the pool of her maximum points of life and mana, and unlocking access to a new skills. Enemies include powerful guards, goblins, knights and dangerous carrots. The skirmishes are dynamic and require accuracy, but also the ability to avoid enemy attacks, whose behaviour and type of damage vary. We get rid of enemies with spells and ranged weapons such as wands, boltguns, magic books throwing poisonous bullets or fireballs, grenades and bombs, scepters with different trajectories of bullets inflicting damage from the elements and others. While exploring each room, we come across hordes of enemies, but also traps and special treasures. ![]() The core of the game is no different from what was presented to us in the previous installment. Ziggurat 2 is a roguelite in the form of a first-person shooter, where each level is generated randomly. To do this, we walk through the Ziggurat, a multi-level sacred tower typical of Mesopotamian architecture, getting rid of the evil that lies there in the form of a wide variety of monsters. In the game we play the role of one of the members of the most powerful magical order, whose task is to protect humanity from the evil forces. Milkstone Studios is again responsible for the development and release of the game, known for games such as Farm Together and White Noise. Ziggurat 2 is the second instalment of a dynamic first-person rogue-like shooter in which, killing hundreds of enemies, we use an arsenal of ranged weapons and spells as we walk through the vast Citadel.
